The growing team at ICS SP across the countries

To ensure sustainable child protection measures, ICS SP has been working closely with and for children, community, government and other relevant stakeholders in Africa for 0ver 25 years. We have achieved key milestones in strengthening families and protecting children through targeted programs touching on; Skillful Parenting, child labor, eradicating violence against children, enhancing parental engagement and life skills in schools and at community level.

Through our shared experiences we have learnt and grown to understand the needs of our communities in Kenya, Tanzania and Cote D’Ivoire. To help support this common goal, this year we have welcomed two new programs on Eradicating Child Labor in Busia supported by TDH and the National Parenting Program in Kilifi and Garissa supported by UNICEF.

This shift has brought about an addition to our growing team. We have 9 new employees supporting the two-program totaling the number of almost 40 employees including interns across the countries. Our efforts and everyone’s support is key in driving change as we create an enabling environment for children to thrive in our communities. ICS SP is grateful for the support offered to enhance child protection interventions in our communities.
