In working towards Strengthening Families and Protecting Children, we do not do it alone – we partner with Governments, other NGOs, and CBOs to drive this agenda. In this journey, we have walked with different partners, and we continue to engage many more at different levels.

CURRENT PARTNERS

        

Government of Kenya: We work with the Government of Kenya to strengthen its role in coordination of formal and informal child protection related cases;  in capacity building of various actors to reach a standardized quality; and facilitating development of operational and service guidelines  for actors in the Child Protection Systems.

   

Agrics is an agri-focused social enterprise with operations in Western Kenya and Northern ania. Agrics provides farmer groups with access to quality farm inputs on credit as well as agricultural extensions services. At the same time, ICS works with farmers groups on Skilful Parenting.



   

A+B=3 provides capacity strengthening and financial literacy of our staff and community facilitators on family budgeting.

     

Rural Education and Economic Enhancement Programme (REEP). Operates in Butula and Nambale sub-counties of Busia (Kenya).REEP works ICS-SPto to strengthen families and provide adequate care and protection. 

     

KAACR: Kenya Alliance For Advancement of Children. Operation: Busia County. We engage in the following areas: (1). Advocacy and lobbying (2). Empowering the duty-bearers to provide care and protection to children. (3). Building community and family quality child care and protection systems.

       

Childline Kenya. Operation: Busia County: Developed and established an effective case management system on reported child abuse cases in Busia County i.e. Linking Community Efforts to the National Child Protection System in Busia County to Fight Against child abuse.

 

   

Action for Child Development Trust (ACDT). Operation: Western Kenya. Area of engagement: Skilful Parenting

 

   

Parenting in Africa Network (PAN). Operation: Africa. Area of engagement. Family strengthening - Skilful Parenting.

The Children’s Legal Action Network (CLAN): Operation: Busia County. Provides free legal aid and related services by working together with frontline service providers including Government Departments, COs, individuals and children.

     

Family Support Community Based Initiatives (FASCOBI). Operation: Homabay County. Helps in Family strengthening – Skilful Parenting and Child protection Systems including access to legal aid and justice; Influencing policy for a conducive environment for child wellbeing.
